VOICED : Alemania va a estatizar la filial germana de gigante energético ruso Gazprom

Germany announced plans to nationalize the German subsidiary of Russian energy giant Gazprom to prevent its collapse, marking the second major energy nationalization in three months. This follows Berlin's takeover of Uniper due to Russian gas cuts. The company controls Germany's largest gas storage facility. After Russia's invasion of Ukraine and reduced energy supply to Europe, Germany took control of the company in April, but ownership was unclear, leading to suspended business relations. Germany will invest $232 million, becoming the sole new shareholder. Meanwhile, Poland will seize Gazprom's stake in Euripol Gas, owner of the Yamal Europe pipeline, which transports gas from Russia to Germany. Gazprom halted gas deliveries through this pipeline in April. In May, Russia sanctioned over 30 energy companies in response to Western sanctions over its Ukraine invasion.
