VOICED: Sea-water hydrotherapy for horses causing a splash

In Normandy, Francis Gamma and his team take race horses to the beach for rejuvenation. They use water therapy and clay poultices to aid in the horses' recovery from rest or injury. The water provides a massaging effect, while the clay cools and tightens the horses' legs. Horses can stay at the facility for up to 10 weeks to recharge, with the goal of returning to competition in better form. This method is popular in Lower Normandy, home to many French race horses.
