New space telescope shows alien planet’s bizarre behavior

WASP 189 B is an exoplanet discovered in 2018, located over 3,000 trillion kilometers from Earth. It is a gas giant, significantly larger than Earth and Jupiter, and orbits its star in just 2.7 Earth days. The star is much larger and hotter than our Sun, appearing blue due to its high temperature. WASP 189 B orbits very close to this star, resulting in extreme surface temperatures where even iron becomes gaseous. This exoplanet is classified as an ultra-hot Jupiter. Unlike planets in our solar system, WASP 189 B has a highly tilted orbit, likely influenced by gravitational forces from other celestial bodies.
