VOICED : ONG: cerca de 1.000 detenidos en marcha anticorrupcion en Rusia

In Moscow and St. Petersburg, over 990 people were arrested during anti-corruption protests. Opposition leader Alexei Navalny was detained before a protest he organized was relocated to a Kremlin avenue. Navalny, aiming to challenge Putin in upcoming elections, had been previously arrested in March. The US condemned the arrests and called for the release of the protesters.
