VOICED : Indigenas condenan a guerrilleros de las FARC

An indigenous assembly in Colombia condemned seven Farc guerrillas for the murder of two indigenous guards. The trial began after the guards' funeral, with over 3,000 Nasa members deciding the verdict based on an investigative report. Weapons were destroyed during the trial. The main perpetrator received a 60-year sentence, while others received 40 years. Two minors were sentenced to lashes and rehabilitation. Farc acknowledged the events in a statement from Havana, where peace talks are ongoing. Colombian law allows indigenous authorities to conduct trials for crimes in their territories, provided they don't contravene national laws.
