Jellyfish are aquatic animals related to anemones and coral. They are transparent due to their jelly-like bodies, which are 94% water. Lacking a heart, brain, or bones, they are held together by muscle fibers. Jellyfish feed by using their tentacles to catch prey, and their hollow stomach connects directly to their mouth. They move by expelling water from their stomachs. Most jellyfish inhabit shallow, tropical waters and use their tentacles for protection and hunting. There are around 20 species of jellyfish.
