Frank Lampard: Carrying the Legacy of Football Greats

Frank Lampard, born in Romford, Essex, was surrounded by football greatness from a young age. With a family legacy of football excellence, he was expected to achieve great things. Lampard spent his youth playing football locally and eventually joined Heath Park's youth team. He had trials with top English clubs and signed a youth contract with West Ham in 1994. He made his senior debut on loan to Swansea City in 1995-96 and returned to play for West Ham's senior team.
