I WONDER - What Shape Is A Rainbow?

Rainbows appear as semi-circles from the ground because the sun, the light source, is in the middle of the rainbow, creating a full circle of light. The lower half is hidden below the horizon, which is why we don't see it. This explains why there is no pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, as rainbows have no end.
