In Brussels, dairy farmers protested by covering the European Council with milk powder, opposing the gradual sale of milk powder reserves meant to stabilize overproduction. The European Milk Bird union intervened during a meeting of EU agriculture ministers, with participation from several countries. The reserves, totaling 355,000 tons, have been accumulated for nearly a year. Brussels has refused to sell most of these reserves due to low purchase prices.
