Joe Exotic, also known as Joseph Maldonado-Passage, had his prison sentence reduced from 22 to 21 years for a murder-for-hire plot against his rival, Carol Baskin. He expressed frustration over his trial, claiming he couldn't defend himself properly. Exotic, who has prostate cancer, pleaded for leniency, not wanting to die in prison. He was also convicted of killing tigers and falsifying records. Baskin attended the sentencing, stating Exotic still harbors ill will towards her.
