Russia-Ukraine tensions rise after capture of Ukrainian ships

On November 25th, Ukrainian gunboats and a tugboat departed from Odessa, heading towards Mariupol. As they approached the Kerch Strait, they were intercepted by Russian coast guard vessels, which opened fire and rammed one of the Ukrainian ships. Russian fighter jets and helicopters patrolled the area, and a tanker was used to block the bridge. Ukrainian authorities reported six crew members injured, while Russian authorities claimed only three were injured.
