Seahorse

Seahorses are unique bony fish without scales, having skin over bony plates. They feed using their long snouts to suck in small prey. Poor swimmers, they use fins and tails for movement and anchoring. Their defense includes body armor and camouflage. Remarkably, male seahorses give birth, carrying eggs in a pouch. There are over 35 species, each with distinct traits.
