U.S. Kills Al-Shabab Leader With Ties To Manda Bay Attack

The US Africa Command reported the death of a leader responsible for the Manda Bay Airfield attack during a precision airstrike in Somalia. The leader, involved in planning terrorist operations on the Kenya border, was killed alongside his wife. Despite repelling the attack, a US service member and two contractors were killed. The US Africa Command condemned Al Shabab as an enemy of peace and vowed to pursue those responsible.
