Alabama Prison Official Missing After Escorting Inmate

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office reported that Vicki White, an assistant director of Corrections, was transporting Casey White to the courthouse, but they never arrived. The two are not related, and their absence was only noticed hours later. Their vehicle was found in a shopping center parking lot. Casey White was in custody for capital murder charges.
