British PM Calls For Snap Elections Days Ahead Of Brexit Deadline

Boris Johnson has proposed a December 12th election to resolve Brexit, urging Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn to support it. However, Labour demands that a no-deal Brexit be ruled out first. The House of Commons will debate and vote on this proposal. Johnson insists the UK will leave the EU by October 31st, deal or no deal. Meanwhile, EU leaders are considering extending the Brexit deadline to January 31st.
