VOICED : Comienzan a desminar antigua ciudad de Palmira

Syrian forces, with Russian air support, retook Palmira from ISIS and began demining the city. Palmira, a UNESCO World Heritage site, was previously captured by ISIS in 2015, retaken by the regime, and then recaptured by ISIS. Efforts were made to preserve historical monuments, avoiding bombings in those areas. ISIS's capture led to mass executions and destruction of ancient temples, condemned by UNESCO as war crimes.
