VOICED : Liberaran 26 presos palestinos

The Israeli government announced the release of 26 Palestinian prisoners as part of peace negotiations resumed in July. Most of the 104 prisoners, detained before 1993, were involved in deadly attacks. Israel warned that reoffending prisoners would be re-imprisoned. On the same day, Israel announced plans to build 1,000 homes in occupied territories, despite Palestinian demands to halt settlement construction. The dialogue is set to continue on August 14 in Jerusalem.
