VOICED : Llega a Argentina primer cargamento de vacunas Pfizer contra el covid-19

Argentina received 100,620 Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine doses, part of 20.5 million expected this year. Health Minister Carla Bisotti announced plans to receive more doses in the coming months to vaccinate adolescents and complete vaccination schemes. U.S. representative Mary Kay Carlson attended the vaccine reception. Argentina also anticipates receiving 850,000 AstraZeneca doses from Spain. Currently, 28.5 million people are vaccinated, covering 63% of the population, with 17.1 million fully vaccinated. The country has reported nearly 113,000 COVID-19 deaths and 5.2 million cases since the pandemic began.
