Texas Plans To Lift Stay-At-Home Order

Texas is entering phase one of reopening, easing social distancing while maintaining safety standards. Retail stores, malls, restaurants, and theaters can reopen at 25% capacity. Museums and libraries can open with restrictions, while bars, gyms, and salons remain closed. Texas has over 26,000 COVID-19 cases and 680 deaths. The state aims to balance health and economic recovery, encouraging unity and continued social distancing. If successful, phase two may begin by May 18th.
