VOICED : BAFTA film awards: behind the scenes of the coveted golden mask

Patrick Healy's workshop in London discreetly produces the theatrical mask trophies for the British Film and Television Awards, known as BAFTA. The production began in the 1950s when Healy's enterprise became involved with the film industry. Since then, they have been crafting over 270 bronze trophies annually, each weighing 2.8 kilograms. The process involves creating resin models, making sand molds, and pouring liquid metal. The upcoming BAFTA awards will be held on February 8th, with Wes Anderson's 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' leading with 11 nominations.
