I WONDER - What Does Coral Eat?

Coral reefs, like all living organisms, need to eat to survive. They use tentacles to capture food from the surrounding water, consuming algae and small animals called plankton. Algae, being plants, obtain their energy from the sun through photosynthesis. This process is crucial for coral reefs, which is why they are found in clear, shallow waters where sunlight can easily reach the algae. The corals then derive their energy by consuming these algae.
