Tropical Storm Ernesto intensifies further, forecast to swing close to Puerto Rico

The storm is expected to hit the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean tonight, bringing heavy rain, storm surge, and gusty winds. The National Hurricane Center forecasts that the storm could move near or over the US and British Virgin Islands by this evening and may become a hurricane the next day. Puerto Rico is also at risk.
