Urea

Urea plays a role in animal metabolism and is excreted in urine. It is commonly used as a fertilizer in agriculture due to its nitrogen content. Chemically, urea consists of two amino groups linked by a carbonyl group, and it is a white, odorless solid. When urea comes into contact with water, it releases ammonia, which has a strong odor.
