Former President Trump returned to the capital to deliver a policy speech at the America First Agenda summit, a conservative think tank event. The summit includes former Trump aides who are working on his agenda for a possible second term. Although Trump has not officially announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election, he is reportedly considering doing so in September, ahead of the November midterm elections.
