VOICED : ONU lanza en Mexico premio en honor de periodistas asesinados

The UN launched the Bridge Valdés Award in Mexico to honor communicators who excel in defending human rights and freedom of expression. Named after journalists Miroslava Bridge and Javier Valdés, who were murdered in 2017, the award is supported by UNESCO, the French Embassy in Mexico, AFP, and the University Iberoamericana. Over 100 journalists have been killed in Mexico since 2000, making it one of the most dangerous countries for journalism.
