VOICED : Sureste de Taiwan se paraliza al paso del supertifon Meranti

Typhoon Meranti, the strongest storm in 21 years, paralyzed Taiwan with severe winds and torrential rain. Hengchun experienced record-breaking winds of 234 km/h. The storm led to school closures, power outages affecting over 300,000 homes, and the cancellation of more than 300 flights. Approximately 1,500 people were evacuated from high-risk areas as Meranti moved northwest through the Taiwan Strait.
