Thousands of Venezuelans gathered to pay their respects to Hugo Chávez at the military academy where his remains lay. Many expressed deep sorrow and disbelief at his passing, viewing him as an immortal figure who transformed Venezuela. Despite his death, supporters believe his ideals and the Bolivarian revolution will endure. The chapel will remain open until Friday, when a state funeral will be held.
