Who Was? Alexander the Great

Alexander the Great, a Macedonian king, was born in 356 BCE and became a legendary conqueror of the Persian Empire. His empire spanned Macedonia, Greece, Egypt, and parts of India. Known for his military prowess, Alexander was also the subject of myths and legends, often depicted as a god-like figure. He died in 323 BCE in Babylon, and his body reportedly did not decompose for six days, fueling beliefs of his divine nature.
