How LPG Fuels Appliances, Vehicles, and More

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is a flammable mixture of hydrocarbon gases, primarily propane and butane, derived from oil and gas wells. It is separated from natural gas and stored in pressurized vessels. LPG is used for heating, cooking, and as a vehicle fuel, known as autogas. It is more economical than petrol or diesel and is the third most common vehicle fuel globally. While LPG combustion releases carbon dioxide, it emits less than coal or oil, making it a preferred fuel despite its environmental impact.
