VOICED : Fuerzas iraquies ganan terreno en Mosul pese a resistencia de EI

Iraqi troops continued their battle against ISIS in Mosul for the third consecutive day. The Anti-Terrorism Command led the offensive in the eastern front, while the army aimed to strengthen its presence in the southeast, particularly in Intisar. Despite the intense resistance from the yihadists, who could hold out for weeks, the government forces outnumber them. The extremist group is no longer capable of ground attacks and resorts to suicide bombings in other cities. Many civilians have managed to escape Mosul, but over a million remain trapped.
