Gov. Kemp Offers To Host Republican National Convention In Georgia

President Trump threatened to move the Republican National Convention from North Carolina if full attendance couldn't be guaranteed by August. North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper stated that decisions would be based on health data, not politics. Georgia Governor Kemp invited Trump to consider Georgia as an alternative. Trump has not responded to Georgia's offer but expressed a preference for North Carolina and dismissed rumors of moving the event to Florida.
