German luxury car manufacturers BMW, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz showcased their latest models at the Detroit Auto Show, celebrating record sales. BMW led the 2013 sales with 1.66 million vehicles, a 7.5% increase, maintaining its lead over Audi and Mercedes-Benz. Audi sold 1.58 million vehicles, an 8.3% rise, while Mercedes-Benz saw the highest market growth at 10.7%, selling 1.46 million units. The sales surge was driven by demand in China and North America, despite a stagnant European market. Technological advancements, product variety, and German industrial quality also contributed to the growth.
