Five Cuban agents, previously convicted of espionage in the US, were honored by Raúl Castro in Havana. Known as the 'Cuban Five,' they were arrested in 1998 for being part of the Red Avispa spy network. Cuba claimed their mission was to monitor anti-Castro groups in Miami. Two agents were released after serving their sentences, while the remaining three returned to Cuba in 2014 following a historic US-Cuba relations announcement by Castro and Obama.
