FIFA released the dossiers for the 2026 World Cup bids, with a joint bid from the USA, Mexico, and Canada proposing 23 preselected venues, and Morocco planning to use 12 stadiums, some of which need modernization. FIFA will evaluate both bids and can disqualify any deemed insufficient. The host will be chosen by FIFA's 207 member federations on June 13, 2018, in Moscow. The 2026 World Cup will feature 48 teams, expanding from the current 32-team format.
