VOICED : Costa Rica recupera acervo arqueologico decomisado en Venezuela

Costa Rica successfully recovered 196 archaeological pieces from a Venezuelan collector, marking a significant cultural restitution. The artifacts, dating from 300 to 1300 AD, include stone spheres, metals, and pottery, representing a wide chronological range. Seized between 2009 and 2014 from Harry Manil's private collection in Caracas, these unique pieces hold immense cultural value. They were transported by sea, arriving in Costa Rica on January 2nd, where they were received by the National Museum.
