VOICED: Palestinian women racers find freedom behind the wheel

The Speed Sisters, the first female racing team in the Middle East, have overcome societal and political challenges to establish themselves in the male-dominated sport of speed racing. Based in Ramallah, these Palestinian women have faced skepticism and disapproval but have persisted, gaining recognition both locally and internationally. Their journey began with a training camp organized by the Palestinian Motorsport Federation, and they have since competed in various events, breaking barriers and proving their worth. With aspirations to compete internationally, the team is set to gain further exposure through an upcoming documentary.
