VOICED : Rusia aliviada por decision del COI

The Russian Olympic Committee is preparing a list of athletes for the Rio 2016 Olympics, with international federations reviewing each athlete's doping history. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) expressed disappointment over the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) decision to allow most of the Russian delegation to participate, despite evidence of state-sponsored doping from 2011 to 2015. While some federations have cleared Russian athletes, others, like swimming, have excluded several, including past medalists. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has upheld the suspension of Russian athletics, affecting 68 athletes.
