Texas Rep. Bill Flores Won't Run For Re-Election

Flores announced his decision to retire from Congress at the end of his current term, honoring his initial commitment to serve six or fewer terms. Elected in 2010, he served as the chair of the Republican Study Committee and on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Flores is the fifth House Republican from Texas to announce retirement plans for 2024. He intends to return to the private sector while remaining politically active at various levels.
