Governor Greg Gianforte of Montana was on vacation in Tuscany while his state faced severe flood damage. His office confirmed he was dining in an Italian village with his wife and others. The trip was planned in advance, and he is returning as soon as possible. The floods have caused millions in damage, leading to the closure of Yellowstone National Park.
