Hurricane Raymond, a category 3 storm, is affecting the Pacific coast of Mexico. Currently stationary, it is expected to move westward without making landfall. The hurricane has led to school closures and the evacuation of over 1,000 people. Significant coastal flooding, strong winds, and potential landslides are anticipated. This season, eight storms have impacted Mexico, with four on each coast. The states of Guerrero, Jalisco, and Colima are particularly at risk. The hurricane is expected to strengthen further.
