Chinese ambassador survives Pakistan bombing

A car bomb exploded at a luxury hotel in Kedda, near Pakistan's border with Afghanistan, killing four and injuring twelve. The Chinese ambassador was not present at the time. Balochistan, where the incident occurred, is a province with several armed groups seeking independence and opposing Chinese infrastructure projects. Separatists have previously attacked Chinese-funded projects, accusing Pakistan and China of exploiting the region's resources with little benefit to locals.
