STEM is on the air at Youth Radio

Youth Radio engages teenagers, especially from low-income families and youth of color, in creative and technical work. Supported by the National Science Foundation, they teach kids to investigate science stories and develop technology. Students learn to edit interviews, compose music, and develop mobile apps. The program aims to transform students from consumers to creators, contributing to the economy. Youth Radio plans to expand its model nationwide, allowing educators to adapt their toolkit in various learning environments.
