Discovering the World of Sea Turtles

Sea turtles are marine creatures found in most oceans, favoring warm, shallow waters. They have flippers for swimming and females lay eggs on sandy beaches. Hatchlings race to the sea upon hatching. Sea turtles have hard shells for protection, and leatherbacks can grow very large. Their diet includes seagrass and jellyfish, but they often mistake plastic for food. Male sea turtles live entirely in the ocean.
