VOICED : Satellite dishes return as Mosul reconnects to world

In East Mosul, residents are reinstalling satellite dishes after the Iraqi forces recaptured the area from IS control. Under IS rule, watching TV was banned, but now people like 16-year-old Ali are making a living by assembling and selling dishes. Businesses suffered under IS, with severe punishments for those caught selling dishes. Muhammad, another resident, buys dishes on the black market and sells them, meeting high demand as people cannot install them on their own. Despite ongoing control in parts of the city's west, East Mosul is experiencing a resurgence in media access, with TV making a comeback even before basic utilities like running water.
