Juchitán, a town in southern Mexico, was severely affected by an 8.2 magnitude earthquake, the strongest in a century. Rescue teams, aided by dogs, searched for survivors amidst the rubble. Many families set up temporary camps due to lack of water and electricity. The earthquake resulted in at least 61 deaths, with 36 in Juchitán. The tremor was also felt in Tacana, Guatemala, causing injuries and damage to homes.
