VOICED : South Africa's record breaking running Grand Dame

Deidre Larkin, an inspiring grandmother and former concert pianist, holds the over-80 world record for the half marathon. Despite being diagnosed with osteoporosis 16 years ago, she overcame the condition with her son's encouragement and now runs 10 kilometers daily. Deidre is a well-known figure in her community, often recognized from television appearances. She teaches piano to children with the same passion she has for running and gives motivational talks. Last year, she participated in 65 races and plans to continue running as long as she can.
