Microlight Pilot flies to Sydney

Dave Sykes, a paralyzed pilot, embarked on a remarkable journey from Yorkshire to Sydney in a microlight aircraft. Over four months, he traveled nearly 12,000 miles, facing challenges like lightning storms and the threat of being shot down. Despite these obstacles, Dave's determination and spirit led him to an emotional arrival in Sydney, where he flew over iconic landmarks. His journey, which also raised funds for the Yorkshire ambulance, showcased breathtaking views across 18 countries. Dave plans to return home by plane, while his microlight will be shipped back to Britain.
