FDA Will Review Johnson & Johnson Vaccine

The FDA's advisory committee is set to review the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine candidate. In trials, the vaccine showed 72% effectiveness in the US and slightly lower in regions with prevalent variants, such as South Africa. If approved, it will be the first single-dose vaccine in the US, with the advantage of being stored in a regular refrigerator.
