"Respect" Recreates 60's Music Scene

The biopic 'Respect' is a tribute to Aretha Franklin and America's musical history. The film captures the essence of the 60s, focusing on style and authenticity. Production designer Ina Mayhue and her team created twelve original sets, including Aretha's childhood home and the Rainbow Room. They ensured each set reflected the era's personality and style. The film also features reupholstered 1950s furniture and a replica of the Muscle Shoals recording studio. 'Respect' premieres in theaters on August 13th.
