The speaker shares their journey with epilepsy, starting from their first seizure in high school to becoming an advocate for others with the condition. Despite facing challenges like dropping out of university and losing a job, they found purpose through writing and advocacy. They established Kenya's first free mental health and epilepsy support line and now work to reduce stigma and exclusion for people with epilepsy.
